Partnership

We cannot achieve our mission alone. We actively seek collaboration with those endeavouring to think in new ways. We will not do business with those opposing change.

Solarcentury aims to build unique partnerships with high profile construction companies and product trajectory partners through to local authorities and NGOs in order to maximise new product initiatives and encourage cleaner energy procurement across all markets.

The Renewable Energy Association (REA)
We actively support the REA, a trade association that supports the UK renewable energy industry. www.r-p-a.org.uk

Kingspan
We have worked with Kingspan offsite solutions to develop a vertical photovoltaic cladding solution in conjunction with the Kingspan architectural facade framing system. www.kingspanoffsite.com

Merton and Croydon Borough Councils
We have continued to support and drive forward the pioneering 'Merton rule', which is affecting many major developments across the UK. Solarcentury worked with Chancerygate on the first 'Merton rule' project in Willow Lane, Mitcham, to deliver 7% of the development's energy from on-site renewables.

Gazeley
Gazeley is the second biggest developer of logistics warehouses in the UK and is owned by WalMart. Despite operating in a heavily fossil fuel dependent industry Gazeley is entirely committed to treating the world like they intend to stay. They have developed their own eco-template with the help of leading environmental architect, Bill McDonough, to radically reduce the negative environmental impacts of every aspect of their logistic parks. Solarcentury work closely with Gazeley to help manage their energy efficiency and renewable energy requirements throughout Europe. This work has not gone unnoticed since Lee Scott, CEO of WalMart, recently announced plans to reduce greenhouse gases by 20 percent in seven years and energy use at stores by 30 percent over the same period. www.gazeley.com
