However, when you get down to the brass tacks, you potential solar devotees may be thrown by the maths, the jargon – kWhs? feed-in-tarrifs? 3kWp? And the various considerations before investing.

The average solar power system in the UK is 3kWp, which, on average, would produce about 2,600 kWh over the course of the year.
